Hi, wow I just asked a question after yours about selling my home, and I wanted to move to Dallas, Texas and do a 1031 exchange also.
Anyways, I have been doing research and found some great sites that are very good. You can just select what you want about Texas and it will show you a list of areas.

Frisco is a great place to live and work as well as raise a family. It is the number one fastest growing area in texas. I have lived here for 10 years now and it has grwon from 15k population to over 85k. my house was 198k when i bought it and is 275k now. austin and houston are also both great places to invest.

Guaranteed your best contact is. Not only do they do 1031 exchanges but the owner is a financial advisor and has contacts for investment properties all over the map.
