Any real estate is a good thing. Doesn’t matter where, go for it!
Dallas is a great are,the metro plex is growing in leaps and bound.
This is food for thought.
I use to be an agent and now I am an investor. Only about 5% of the total class with follow through and become an agent and succeed in the field and you need to have a good savings account to fall back on untill you get on your feet.

However, the good agents and the ones that want to work at it, can still make money.
