I would suggest getting a real estate license if you don’t already have one, then become a CCIM, the education is excellent:

Depending on the type commercial real estate you want to do, once you have your license, you may check the websites of the National Association of Realtors or go direct to the affiliates who sponsor commercial designations below:
CCIM
SIOR
BOMA (not affiliated with NAR)
IREM
It is helpful if you have a degree in business or accounting, although it is not required but the better known commercial firms would prefer to employ potentially the cream of the crop.
