Why is Texas real estate so affordable?

4 bedroom houses for under 80k shocking considering here in California houses are $400k.

   Because TX hasn’t been corrupted by the govt. and realtors yet.

   Property tax’s are higher in TX.

   In South Carolina, you can still get them for under $60K.

   Main reasons: location, location, location.

   Population growth/stability, job market, salary range, economic conditions – they all make a big difference in property prices.

   Hurricanes ,floods,no jobs to support higher priced homes.
